One Day Training for Nodal Officers of Red Ribbon Club (RRC)

The Mizoram State Aids Control Society (MSACS) organized a One Day Training for Nodal Officers of Red Ribbon Club (RRC) on 24th September, 2024 (Tuesday) at Whitestone Conference Hall, Aizawl.
The programme is a training of nodal officers to spread HIV/AIDs awareness among youths while also promoting related activities in institutional settings. Dr. R. Lallianzela and Ludi Lalneihpuii, Nodal Officers, RRC, HATIM, attended the training programme.
Mrs. Lalneihzeli Sailo, Assistant Director, MSACS, gave a welcome address to kick off the training session. The CEO of SHALOM, Dr. Chawnglungmuana, gave a speech about the connection between drug misuse and HIV/AIDS and their impact. The ART counsellor from Kulikawn Hospital, Mrs. Lalneihpuii, spoke about how vulnerable young people are to HIV/AIDS and its effects. A member of the PLHIV community named Zampuii shared her story.
The MSACS Assistant Director for Youth, Mrs. Lalneihzeli Sailo, gave a presentation on the function of nodal officers in bolstering RRC initiatives and Nodal officers from different institutions gave presentations on their respective Red Ribbon Club activities.
